You have the component, we have the right machine

We understand that a prototype is more than just a component. It is the first tangible step of your innovation, a critical test of function and design, and the foundation for your future series production. With machining capabilities up to 4700 mm x 3050 mm x 1100 mm, we provide not only machine capacity for this purpose, but also support you throughout the entire development process with our experience in prototype tooling and forming technology.

We manufacture precision at a distance

Ensuring high geometric accuracy over the entire length of the component

Few set-ups

5-axis machining ensures high accuracy and short lead times, especially for complex components.

Prototypes & Individual Parts

One-off special components are standard for us. We rapidly produce precise prototypes in series.

Logistics & Planning

A prototype part is only truly usable when it arrives safely packed and on time. This is why our work doesn't begin at the spindle or the press, but already at the initial cost estimation. We understand logistics as an integral part of the process chain, from raw material through tooling and forming processes to the finished sheet metal prototype.

Even during the quotation phase, we plan not only the manufacturing but also the entire process. This includes Packaging, Transportation and clarification of the unloading situation. Especially with large-area or sensitive components, preparation determines whether your parts arrive ready for assembly.

Phase 1: Delivery and Goods Receipt of the raw material

Even before we mill, the logistics chain begins. The blanks (e.g., large castings, steel or aluminum blocks) are already heavyweights themselves.

  • Means of transport Delivery is usually made by heavy-duty trucks, often on a low-loader or a platform trailer.
  • Discharge The discharge is usually handled by a powerful Overhead crane (typically with a load capacity of 10t or more) is possible. Especially if the forklift is overloaded. The presence of trained personnel is mandatory.
  • Goods receipt inspection: Immediately after unloading, the inspection takes place: Reconciliation with the delivery note, material check, and secure storage.

Quality Management and Warehousing

Examination of the enclosed documents, in particular the Material test certificate (e.g., according to EN 10204 – 3.1). Storage at a designated storage location, e.g., our Stopa automatic storage and retrieval system.

Phase 2: Process Safety for Heavyweights

Within our manufacturing facility, the movement of components weighing tons is not a matter of chance but a precisely planned logistics process. Internal handling forms the backbone of our manufacturing quality: each workpiece is safely navigated from the material warehouse directly to the machine table using powerful overhead cranes.

Your advantage through our expertise:

  • Transport to the machine The raw part is transported from the storage area to the machine by an overhead crane and then lifted onto the machine table.
  • Clamping The clamping process itself is logistically and technologically relevant for manufacturing, as it takes time and requires special know-how.
  • Transport for prototype tool assembly: After processing, the finished, often still heavy component is transported directly to the tool assembly area by overhead crane.

Phase 3: Packaging & Value Retention – Protection for your products

After processing, your special component has its highest value, and that's precisely when nothing can happen during transport. That's why we consistently protect surfaces, edges, and functional areas from impacts, moisture, and corrosion. A part doesn't leave our facility until the packaging and securing are appropriate for its geometry, weight, and shipping route.

Your advantage through our expertise:

  • Custom Packaging Always the right packaging, depending on the component in the cardboard box, in the KLT (small load carrier) or in coordinated exchangeable containers, bundled over several delivery lots if desired to reduce costs.
  • Secure Logistics Shipping via our own fleet or through established service providers such as DHL, UPS, as well as freight forwarders like Schenker or Dachser.
  • Clear marking and protection: Clean fixing and protection of sensitive areas so that your parts can be used directly in the manufacturing process.

Phase 4: Loading & Transport - Arrive safely

Transportation is the final, and often most critical, step. After processing and packaging, we ensure your custom components are loaded to protect surfaces, edges, and functional areas, guaranteeing a smooth shipping experience. We select the appropriate shipping method based on weight, dimensions, sensitivity, and deadline.

For smaller shipments, we use established parcel service providers. For larger delivery lots or bulky items, we rely on freight forwarders. If time is tight or a coordinated handover makes sense, we also deliver with our own fleet. This keeps logistics flexible without becoming complicated.

An important lever for efficiency is bundled deliveries. When it fits the project, we combine several delivery lots and ship them in coordinated exchangeable containers, KLTs, or cartons. This reduces shipping effort, lowers costs, and ensures that related parts arrive at your location together.

Your advantage through our expertise

  • Suitable transport solution Parcel service or freight forwarder; delivery via our own fleet if needed or if the distance allows.
  • Predictable shipping costs Bundling multiple delivery lots and coordinated container concepts for less effort.
  • Secure handover Through appropriate packaging, clear labeling, and clean loading for undamaged parts.

Phase 5: Documentation & Insurance Transparency to the finish

For us, a project is only complete when not only the part fits, but also the documentation for it. Especially with custom parts, where function, fit, or material are crucial, clean documentation counts just as much as the machining itself. That's why we compile the relevant information in a structured way so you can quickly check, approve, and continue working internally.

Depending on the requirements, we provide the appropriate documentation, such as material certificates, measurement and test reports, or other project-specific documents. If special features are agreed upon, we document them in a traceable manner so that the quality is not only visible but also verifiable.

The commercial aspects also remain clear. We transparently agree on the shipping method, responsibilities, and handover points, tailored to your process and the chosen mode of transport. For valuable or sensitive shipments, we can also clarify transport insurance upon request, so that effort and risk remain calculable for you.

What they get out of it

  • Complete technical accompanying documents: Depending on requirements, with material certificates as well as measurement and test reports, and upon request, also with FAI documents for aviation or initial sample test reports according to automotive standards.
  • Clear settlement: coordinated shipping and handover points for a smooth administrative process.
  • Planable security Tailored solutions for the protection of high-value shipments during transit as needed.
